Our mission is to restore and expand access to all trimester abortion care in Boulder, Colorado by raising critical funds to secure a permanent clinic space and fund safe, essential, and compassionate patient care for all who need it.
When Colorado's only later abortion care clinic closed in April 2025, it left just four others in the entire US, an unsustainable gap for people needing specialized care. Clinicians and administrators immediately responded by forming the RISE Collective to provide all trimester abortion care. The following month, the Boulder community came together to form Boulder Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to give RISE a permanent, safe, secure home.
In October 2025, RISE opened in a temporary space and began caring for patients, and Boulder Collective purchased the 13,000-square-foot building that will become RISE's permanent home. We've raised $3 million to date toward the building and its renovation. $2.4 million more will complete the buildout, with a target move-in date of December 1, 2026.
